If you ever watch the 1999 film <Anna and the King>, then you will notice the castle which named Kellie's castle. The Kellie's castle located at Batu Gajah which is 20 minutes from Ipoh. This is an unfinished and ruined castle which has some ghost stories surround it. William Kellie Smith was from a village in Scotland and he came Malaya for his plantation business. The castle alleged built for his wife or home for his son. Once you step into the castle, you will see there are several introduction sheets stick on the wall. According to the sheets on the wall, some people ever spot that Kellie wander at the aisle while Helen whom is his daughter spotted at her bedroom. However,the castle still look beautiful instead of gloomy in daytime. Some couples choose this place to take their wedding photo too.
Another mystery of this ancient castle is the bear-looked tree. Allegedly, the bear spirit was suck into the tree and turn up like this. When i stood there, the tree was died but the bear head still vividly seen.

Time to eat! This time we went to have seafood! There is one famous dish called "big head prawn" at Tanjung Tualang which is about 1 hour from Ipoh. There are several restaurant to sell seafood, so you may have many choice. The prawn was so big and thicker than my thumb and the flesh is so fresh and tender. The price was around RM90/kg. If you want order the octopus, you must order the steam octopus with pepper and soy sauce (白灼八爪鱼). But I tried this dish at Restaurant Sun Tuck Kee (新德记炒粉店）65 Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Ipoh, Perak 30300, Malaysia. This is very nice! Thumb Up!
What can you do at night at Ipoh? After a whole day trip, it is time to be relax. Tambun hotspring is a nice choice. It is part of the Sunway Lost World theme park but it only opens from 1800-2200. The entrance fee is RM15 and the locker is RM10. The address is No.1 , Persiaran Lagun Sunway 1,Sunway City Ipoh, Malaysia, 31150 Ipoh, Malaysia.
This hot bath will totally relax you and said to have healing effect. There were several ponds inside and each pond has its own temperature. The temperature range from 40 to 60 Celsius above. The most unbearable pond was the cave which has sauna effect. My friend can't even breath when she entered. The hot steam inside the cave make people suffocate if stay long there. Besides, there was a Jacuzzi on top of the cave. However, I didn't see any bubbling effect from it and I just felt it was extremely hot. There was a music stage, foot spa, stall selling drink (so do remember bring some money enter if you want to have some drink) and crystal spa. The crystal spa was not included in the entrance fee. There was a secret garden behind the crystal spa. Don't miss it!
At the morning of second day, we went to Nam Heong white Coffee shop (南香). 2, Jalan Bandar Timah, Ipoh, Perak 30000, Malaysia. This was the first stall that created OLD TOWN WHITE COFFEE. The father created the coffee and his son expended his business by packing the coffee to package and sold and eventually turn up into well-known Old Town White Coffee which has many brunches at malaysia. Once you have come to Nam Heong, you must try the coffee and egg tart. If you do not drink the coffee, you may try the milk tea. There were several food stalls at the shop, you can even order the food stalls from opposite shop and they will deliver to your seat too.
If you want have a tea break, try to go to <Burps & Giggle>,93 & 95 Jalan Sultan Yussuf, 30000 Ipoh, Perak. It was designed as an old- look antique shop but the food selling there was great! The price was controlled between the range that was affordable for the Ipoh residents.
Be prepare with your camera when you walk into the shop.

If you do not scare of hot, you must come to the Ipoh famous Tai Shu Geok (big tree's head) to eat the laksa and the fried stuff (忠记兵如港炸料粉) which at 652, Jalan King, Pasir Pinji, 31650 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The stall was under the trees and that was the reason for its name. The fried stuff was crunchy, tasty and cheap! You can pour the laksa soup into the fried stuff you have chosen. Thumb up for this local food stall! There was one dessert can be ordered there called "dan dan" (steam egg with milk).It is recommended for those who loves milk and egg!

| The right piece round fried sagu which is inside the left bowl is very delicious and suitable to eat without any sauce or soup. The right bowl fried stuff was pour with Asam Laksa which is a perfect match!
After that, we walked to the shop-lot which was opposite Tai Shu Geok. There was one famous restaurant which sells roaster chicken, pork and duck. The restaurant name Tuck Kee 德记烧腊. Unfortunately, the chao sao and golden money meat were sold out when we ordered. So be a early bird if you want to eat their signature meal. However, we ordered the roaster pork and the sausage. These were delicious too.
Beside roaster meal, you still can order other dish as well.
