     Where is a nice place to have high tea with your buddy? Today, let's introduce a nice coffee house to you. Grazia cafe located at the taman sutera, which is nearby the Sutera Shopping Mall. This is a small but nice ambiance cafe.

     The interior design was great. Wall decorated with several painting and there was a book shelf which provide you a reading material while you are enjoying your coffee. Besides, there was a corner which displayed the type of coffee beans, books about the coffee and accessory to sell. You can having your meal at the dining table, sofa or bar table as long as you are comfort with. By the way, if you wanna to have a long section here, please don't choose the low sofa without back seat, you really will torture your backbone.

     The latte art here was quite nice as well as the taste of coffee. The carameal machiatto was strongly recommend for the sweet lover. Double ristretto cappucino smells good! Overall, all the coffee here really achieve a standard level. But they can't do a latte art on flat white ;(

     For the spaghetti, smoked duck aglio olio was delicious. It has little bit spicy but the taste will lingering in your mouth for long time. The chicken chop also recommended as the chicken was grill with nice, tender and juicy. However, the pasta with tomato sauce was too simple and lose to the aglio olio. Other than that, here also has pizza, sandwich and cakes.

     The cheese cake was really a suitable dessert. Really delicious and won't feel bored with the cheese.

     Overall, this is a nice shop with friendly screws, nice ambiance, nice food and cheaper price. You may make a visit here.

Stickhouse -- Ice-Cream Yum Yum @Sunway Pyramid

     Stickhouse, first in Malaysia, a new innovative healthy gelato concept from Italy,  located at Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. You can see colourful sticks of ice cream displayed at the transparent freezer. This fascinating picture makes you feel like return to your childhood, pulling your parents' corner of shirt and begging them to buy the ice cream for you. You will feel happy by seeing those colourful ice cream sticks in front of you. Dessert really is a good mood stabiliser.

 

     There is mainly 3 types of ice-cream sold here: mini (RM4.90), classic (RM6.90) and premium (RM8.90). What so special about this ice-cream? Firstly, they claims that the ice-cream produced using only 100% natural and genuine ingredients without adding artificial flavouring, colouring, or preservative. Fresh fruit, milk and cream together with the "Stickhouse Bases" and the decorations guarantee a healthy, full-bodied product with a persistent taste. There is variety of taste but mainly are fruit flavour such as watermelon, mango, grapes, orange, milk, soy and etc. The mini ice-cream is really mini in size, so I think you better buy a classic one. On the other hand, the premium type has hazel nut, pistachio, green tea and others all have peanut topping and really tempting.

     I bought a watermelon flavour because its red colour was exactly like the watermelon flesh! When I first bite it, I have a delusion that I was eating the watermelon. It was nice but just little bit too sweet.

In the malacca town, except for the famous jonker street, where else you can chill out? This definitely is a good place for you to gather with gangs of buddy. Nadeje, established since 2006. Nadeje prides itself on its quality fresh ingredients and finest handmade Mille Crepe & other special cakes/desserts that taste flavourful and satisfying all on its own. 

I was on tour with gangs of friend and fortunately we find this place for this lovely afternoon to have some tea break. Well, it's the first time that I heard this humor that it famous of it's "special cakes" . How special it is? Let's check it out!

Nadeje (Melaka Branch)

We ordered a total of  4-5 pieces of this "special cakes" and also ordered two pot of flower tea which consists of different flavours, lavender and chrysanthemum.  The aroma of the flower tea smells good and relax~

When you using the fork and grab a bite on the cake, you can definitely feel the softness and compactness of this cake. The cream was laying storey by storey and it seems to be a total layers of 20++ layers. The soft and sweet cake that melt in your mouth when it was send into your mouth , will also melt your heart as well. 

Addition again, it taste perfectly match when together with the flower tea. Both these cake and tea will ease your nerve down if you are having a pressurized weekdays. 

Last but no least, you can bring along some book or your mp3 to enjoy your high tea for your whole afternoon. The whole environment of this restaurant is also chilling and relax. The atmosphere also has a sweet and soft smell, which can brought you with a good mood after you enter it.

Pitstop Cafe: coffee~ dine~ games @ PJ

   
     When you are waiting for your meal in a cafe, what would you do? Playing candy crush? 4 pic 1 word? or just Facebook or twitter? The modern technology makes us indulge into our Ipads or smart phones and less connectivity between human. Let's us abandon our technology devices and start to play a game with friends while we are waiting our meal!

This game only suitable for 3 years old child.

     As you can see from the photo, this <Pitstop cafe> provides variety of games on the shelf which includes board games, card, etc. But some games lost its instruction papers so this confused us as we were not familiar with the games XD

     Recently, it has valuable promotion! 1 course meal + 1 drink + 1 mushroom soup + 1 free flow ice-cream with price RM 18 ~ RM30 according to the main course you choose. The food taste normal. The chicken chops basically quite nice and cheap. The <black and white chicken chop>  was chicken chop with mushroom and black pepper sauce. The <honey brown  sauce chicken chop> taste sweet and quite nice.  I like the wedges as it was crispy! But personally I found the mushroom soup was not really nice, it was too dilute. The apple soda drink also not recommended, taste like colouring drink only. 

     The portion of meal is quite big and the price is reasonable. The comfort environment and games provided attracts a lot of customers. Another attractive point is their self-serving ice-cream top up. They will give you a biscuit cone and you can go take your ice-cream as much as you can! The flavours includes chocolate, Oreo, mints, yam, strawberry, etc. But when I went to take it, almost all flavours finished and left orea and chcolate flavours only. That time was only 1830. I wondered why they don't top up the ice-cream...Haiz..

Chinese Traditional Dessert @ Petaling Jaya

     Nowadays, many people will go to have a dessert at the air- conditioner equipped, well-known dessert shops. Of course, the price for the dessert there is higher. It is hard to find a local stall that sells home cook desserts. Well, there is a famous dessert stall named 洪记糖水 at section 17, petaling jaya. 

     The stall starts operate at evening. It is a street which has a lot of food stalls there. So you can have your dinner followed by dessert here. What make this dessert stall so popular? First, it has big volume but cheaper price. Of course, the quality is maintained. There are a lot of pots with different dessert inside. You will be given a green big bowl and go to choose whatever you like. It is self service which mean you can put how much as you like or even mix several dessert in one bowl. Each dessert is merely RM1.80. The desserts provided are green pea soup, sweet potato soup, sea coconut, honey melon,  black glutinous rice soup, bubur cha cha, peanut soup and etc. Usually, the desserts will sell out soon. The photo i shot which showed half empty pots was taken at 8.30pm.

     You can take away too and charged with extra RM0.20. You can choose either plastic bag or plastic container to take away. But I found out there was always leaking problem with the plastic bag. 

Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar @ KL

     A good meal ends with good talk. This is an opening message when you've open the Monte's menu. The restaurant provides a comfort environment in addition of delectable western cuisine. You can screen through the menu from appetizers to desserts and there is standard price for the meal, or maybe expensive for a student.

     The waiter will serve you with the bread and butter at the beginning and it is free. You can fill your stomach while waiting for your meal. The bread is soft and marvelous with the butter.

     Everyone has a dream even Monte... Monte's dream is a sweet mocktail. If you prefer sour mocktail, you may order Cinderella. Is Cinderella's life sour and sweet?

     Poultry: Canju chicken was served with tomato salsa, potato salads and vegetable. This was quite a nice dish and too full for a small appetite girl. The grill chicken chop was tender while the tomato salsa make the chicken more juicy although I felt there was lack of tomato sour taste. 

     Next, Chicken Maryland. The chicken chop was fried with bread crumbs and the side dish have sausage,  banana fritter, vegetable, french fries and fried corn ball. In summary, all are fried stuff. If you love to eat fried stuff,  this is suitable for you. The portion was really big and too much for a girl. 

     In addition, Mushroom Chicken is recommended. The mushroom gravy was pour on the grill chicken and i felt there was same grill chicken as canju chicken. Besides, there was herbed rice and vegetable. The mushroom gravy taste little bit like cheese and it was just perfect with the chicken. 

     We all astonished when the Honey Chicken reached on the table. This was totally a small sized whole fried chicken! The honey sauce was served in a small bowl and you can dip the chicken with it. The side dish was the french fries. I think this was suitable for kids as they like fried chicken. Nothing special other than a normal fried chicken.

Seafood: Norwegian Salmon Stick served with tomato salsa. Well, the different with Canju Chicken was the salmon was softer, smaller, more expensive. But indeed, the salmon will taste better as it was just well-cooked and smooth to swallow. There were salad and potato wedges too.

Pasta: Spaghetti Vongole was recommended for those love plain food. The spaghetti was cooked together with the clamps, chili and garlic. The spaghetti was mixed with small amount of soup which has accumulates the essence of clams and taste fabulous! 

     Next, Spaghetti Spinach Cream Sauce was a healthy choice. The spaghetti was cooked with button mushroom as sundried tomatoes. But the spaghetti was not made from spinach as we thought. Haiz...
