This is a restaurant which located at the 3rd floor of the building. When I first visited this restaurant, the staircase was in dark and the basement was lighted up by using few candles. First I thought it was purposely designed like this, such romantic idea. But the truth was always cruel..Light bulb was spoiled..
When I stepped in the restaurant, it was happening. Here has no luxury design and quite disappoitning at its interior design..or I should say it has no design at all. Every table will have a big sizzling pot. The environment was little bit crowded and the air convection was really quite bad. You will feel hot and the smoke kept came out from the sizzling pot which may make you breath harder if there was no fan there.
Nevermind, we focus on its food. It's famous of Korean traditional food: Dak-Galbi. They fry the chicken, cabbage, rice cake and sweet potatoes on a big sizzling pot in front of you. They will put their special sauce and make it appears darker. Basically, just mix up all the ingredient. So the taste was really not so great..I like the ramen (with additional price of RM6) and the sweet potatoes.Beside that, I really can't find any special thing in this dish except the way they cooked ( cooked in a big sizzling pot in front of you and made you smell like stinky after backed home).
Oh ya, another special thing is you have to wear the apron to protect yourself. Otherwise, the gravy or ingredient may spilled on your cloth. Don't put your handphone or purse on the table while they are cooking unless you wanna taste your phone or purse too.
The menu was really limited. The price also little bit pricy, RM22. There is a rule that you must ordered at least 2 people portion then so they will cook the Dak-Galbi for you. I think 2 person meals was enough for 3 small appetite girls. The sides dish they gave were merely kimchi (not really nice, strong preservative taste) and salad.
The impression it leaves: It is just good enough to come once time. Quite unique experience as you have to wear apron and enjoy the waiter cooks with the big sizzling pot in front of you, good interaction.
