Grazia Cafe @ Sutera, JB

Where is a nice place to have high tea with your buddy? Today, let's introduce a nice coffee house to you. Grazia cafe located at the taman sutera, which is nearby the Sutera Shopping Mall. This is a small but nice ambiance cafe.

Knowledge of coffee

Decoration of the cafe
The interior design was great. Wall decorated with several painting and there was a book shelf which provide you a reading material while you are enjoying your coffee. Besides, there was a corner which displayed the type of coffee beans, books about the coffee and accessory to sell. You can having your meal at the dining table, sofa or bar table as long as you are comfort with. By the way, if you wanna to have a long section here, please don't choose the low sofa without back seat, you really will torture your backbone.

Left top: Flatwhite, Right top: Caramel Machiatto,
Left below: Cafe latte,  Right below: Double Ristretto Cappucino

Left top to right down: Smoked duck aglio olio, Chicken chop, Cheese cake, Tomato Sauce Pasta

The latte art here was quite nice as well as the taste of coffee. The carameal machiatto was strongly recommend for the sweet lover. Double ristretto cappucino smells good! Overall, all the coffee here really achieve a standard level. But they can't do a latte art on flat white ;(

For the spaghetti, smoked duck aglio olio was delicious. It has little bit spicy but the taste will lingering in your mouth for long time. The chicken chop also recommended as the chicken was grill with nice, tender and juicy. However, the pasta with tomato sauce was too simple and lose to the aglio olio. Other than that, here also has pizza, sandwich and cakes.

The cheese cake was really a suitable dessert. Really delicious and won't feel bored with the cheese.

Overall, this is a nice shop with friendly screws, nice ambiance, nice food and cheaper price. You may make a visit here.

Stickhouse -- Ice-Cream Yum Yum @Sunway Pyramid

Stickhouse, first in Malaysia, a new innovative healthy gelato concept from Italy,  located at Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. You can see colourful sticks of ice cream displayed at the transparent freezer. This fascinating picture makes you feel like return to your childhood, pulling your parents' corner of shirt and begging them to buy the ice cream for you. You will feel happy by seeing those colourful ice cream sticks in front of you. Dessert really is a good mood stabiliser.

There is mainly 3 types of ice-cream sold here: mini (RM4.90), classic (RM6.90) and premium (RM8.90). What so special about this ice-cream? Firstly, they claims that the ice-cream produced using only 100% natural and genuine ingredients without adding artificial flavouring, colouring, or preservative. Fresh fruit, milk and cream together with the "Stickhouse Bases" and the decorations guarantee a healthy, full-bodied product with a persistent taste. There is variety of taste but mainly are fruit flavour such as watermelon, mango, grapes, orange, milk, soy and etc. The mini ice-cream is really mini in size, so I think you better buy a classic one. On the other hand, the premium type has hazel nut, pistachio, green tea and others all have peanut topping and really tempting.

I bought a watermelon flavour because its red colour was exactly like the watermelon flesh! When I first bite it, I have a delusion that I was eating the watermelon. It was nice but just little bit too sweet.

Restaurant Korean House @SS2

This Korean House located at SS2, PJ, upstair of a shop.

The menu was designed luxurious.

The first impression that restaurant leaf to me wasn't so good. That day, we went to celebrate my friend's birthday. That was a hot Sunday afternoon. The small restaurant was filled with customers. This was a small restaurant which have around 10 tables, I think. When we reach there, there was nobody came to serve us. 6 of us have been stand there for about 15 minutes for looking the screws ran in and out. Got a couple standing in front of the counter and waiting for cashier too. We were like a transparent souls and no one noticed us. By the time passed and our patiences being faded, we stopped one of the waitress and asked any available seats. That waitress said yes and pointed to us and then leaf. We were stunted there at that moment. We thought she will lead us to the seat. At last, we went to find the empty seats for our own. Maybe they were too busy.

If you wanna to order the BBQ set, you have to ordered at 2 sets. This was their rule. One set of BBQ at least RM30. So we didn't ordered as we ordered the promotion set lunch, which is RM10. The side dish were quite a lot, around 10 types. But seriously, that was normal taste only. Kimchi plays a soul role in korean cusine. For this korean house, the kimchi has a space to improve even my friend also shaking his head while testing it. But the cucumber pickles was quite good, slightly sour and refreshing. The japanese egg bean curd also not bad.

The set lunch we ordered included rice, soup and fried meat. You can choose chicken, pork or octupus for the meat. We ordered 3 of them. All were fried with cabbage and actually taste the same except the texture of meat. The octupus has beaten all the other 2 out as it was really chewy, by the way the price for it also double up. Actually the portion of meat they gave quite a lot, actually was quite full. Although they stated  that it was spicy but honestly it wasn't.

Spicy Fried Chicken (RM9.90)

Spicy Fried Octupus (RM22)

Spicy Fried Pork (RM9.90)

We also ordered other dishes. We did a very stupid mistake that was we ordered the spicy fried pork..It was exactly the same as our set lunch! In conclusion, all the fried meat come from same source, all are same taste..

Spicy Fried Pork (RM28)
We also ordered the Ginseng Chicken Soup which was around RM28 if not mistaken. That one was quite nice. It was enough for 4 people. Although it has no strong herbal taste and smell as chinese herbal soup did, it was still delicious. The light taste tonic soup boots up your energy.

The dish here was normal level and little pricey. The policy of obligatary order 2 sets for bbq wasn't a welcome act for me.

Pepper Lunch @ Sunway pyramid

This is a restaurant introduced by my friend. When we both hungry and passed by this restaurant, the smell of food came out and attracted us to walked in the restaurant.

Pepper Lunch

This is Japanese style teppa restaurant. You will be served with a sizzling hot plate of fresh vegetable and meat. Then you can "cook" by yourself by adding the special sauce they have prepared for you. The sauces are honey brown sauce, garlic soy sauce and other seasoning like pepper and salt. When you pour the sauce onto the hot plate, sizzling sound and smoke come out and be careful of the oil spillages.

seasoning
There is quite a variety of the menu. There are pepper rice which has chicken, beef, salmon; pasta; curry; premium beef set and etc. I ordered the salmon pepper rice and I felt it was marvellous! The salmon was cooked in suitable texture and slightly salty which was match with the rice. One thing I like the rice was the presence of corns which gave it juicy taste. Not need to pour too much seasoning to avoid over salty taste.

Salmon Pepper Rice (RM 16.80).
The cheif was so generous and gave me a lot of salmon~
Besides, curry chicken pepper rice was totally different with the salmon set. It has it own gravy which will flow out once you stir the rice. Thus, I don't think you need to add on the seasoning. You are the cheif on your own, so you can determine how many percentage the meat is gonna to cook. Since the chicken is bigger bulk compare to salmon which is thin slide, I suggest you can cook it with longer time.

Curry Chicken Pepper Rice
Don't underestimate the sizzling hot plate. This is a special electromagnetic cooker, which can heats up 260c in 70 seconds and remains 80c for 20 minutes. So must be bear in mind there, don't ever try to touch the hot plate with bare hand! There is a paper wrapped around the hot plate and its function as prevents oil spillage in addition act as a barrier to protect you. I still felt hot when I was having the meal in half way. How efficient the hot plate is!

The ambience was good and comfort. The screws were always friendly and there provided free, self-service ice water. It was soothing effect to take the ice water after the 'hot' meal.

Overall, this was quite a nice place to have your lunch here. The price is reasonable and Salmon set was really nice!
