Restaurant Korean House @SS2

This Korean House located at SS2, PJ, upstair of a shop.

The menu was designed luxurious.

The first impression that restaurant leaf to me wasn't so good. That day, we went to celebrate my friend's birthday. That was a hot Sunday afternoon. The small restaurant was filled with customers. This was a small restaurant which have around 10 tables, I think. When we reach there, there was nobody came to serve us. 6 of us have been stand there for about 15 minutes for looking the screws ran in and out. Got a couple standing in front of the counter and waiting for cashier too. We were like a transparent souls and no one noticed us. By the time passed and our patiences being faded, we stopped one of the waitress and asked any available seats. That waitress said yes and pointed to us and then leaf. We were stunted there at that moment. We thought she will lead us to the seat. At last, we went to find the empty seats for our own. Maybe they were too busy.

If you wanna to order the BBQ set, you have to ordered at 2 sets. This was their rule. One set of BBQ at least RM30. So we didn't ordered as we ordered the promotion set lunch, which is RM10. The side dish were quite a lot, around 10 types. But seriously, that was normal taste only. Kimchi plays a soul role in korean cusine. For this korean house, the kimchi has a space to improve even my friend also shaking his head while testing it. But the cucumber pickles was quite good, slightly sour and refreshing. The japanese egg bean curd also not bad.

The set lunch we ordered included rice, soup and fried meat. You can choose chicken, pork or octupus for the meat. We ordered 3 of them. All were fried with cabbage and actually taste the same except the texture of meat. The octupus has beaten all the other 2 out as it was really chewy, by the way the price for it also double up. Actually the portion of meat they gave quite a lot, actually was quite full. Although they stated  that it was spicy but honestly it wasn't.

Spicy Fried Chicken (RM9.90)

Spicy Fried Octupus (RM22)

Spicy Fried Pork (RM9.90)

We also ordered other dishes. We did a very stupid mistake that was we ordered the spicy fried pork..It was exactly the same as our set lunch! In conclusion, all the fried meat come from same source, all are same taste..

Spicy Fried Pork (RM28)
We also ordered the Ginseng Chicken Soup which was around RM28 if not mistaken. That one was quite nice. It was enough for 4 people. Although it has no strong herbal taste and smell as chinese herbal soup did, it was still delicious. The light taste tonic soup boots up your energy.

The dish here was normal level and little pricey. The policy of obligatary order 2 sets for bbq wasn't a welcome act for me.
