Ampang Yong Tau Foo

There is a well-known place in malaysia which is a best place to avoid for the summer season and weather-genting highlands. But, there is also a famous and well known yong tau foo restaurant in malaysia, which is a must-to go place, it's located not far from genting highlands. So, if you drive from south to north, so definitely you will passby a place named "Ampang". Ampang is just like a small town, which full of tradisional cuisine shop and "kopitiam". However, the food that lead this small town to the top of the stage is this things called "ampang yong tau foo". It is actually kind of food where the meat is being well minced, and fit tightly into the vegetable like bittergourd, brinjal, long beans, Tofu, and etc. You can either deep fried or steamed it, both result in delicious taste. But this leads to a problem to all the food hunter, which one is the most original and inheritance the tradisional taste?

So here it is, "Foong Foong Restaurant". It always full house when the time approaching 11+ and usually full house about 1, so if you wanna have a good seat, please arrive there about 1130. The recommended food is brinjal, bittergourd, and fried stuff. Every single piece of yong tau foo cost RM1. Still recall that one years ago is RM0.80. The price is jacking up!!

Yong Tau Foo which comprises of fried stuff, brinjal, lady's finger, chili and etc    (wohoa!!)

I will also recommend the customer to order " shui jiao tang", which is dumpling soup, it is really delicious, it come in two different form, one is soup one and another one is deep fried one, both enable you to have different opinion towards, but anyway, both is really thumb up!!

Based on my experience, some people will go there in the morning especially for the sake of the weather is good , as when come to afternoon, it will be just like an oven. Another good things about this restaurant is that, all the dish is ready and done on the spot, not pre made, so you will be guarantee with the most fresh and healthy ingredient and results in the delicious food that will deliver into your saliva dripping's mouth ;-p
