Johor Bahru Nice Thailand Restaurant

If you wanna to have a nice, cheaper Thailand dinner, < bangkok village>  is a nice place. There has a nice ambiance which is surrounded by the garden. When you look up, there is waterfall-liked grass hanging on the ceiling, make you feel like being in the forest, ehm..maybe not so exaggerate. The other feature is there is non-stop thailand songs broadcasting. Other than that, in front of the restaurant is the branch of international steamboat. So you have another choice!
Talk back to the thailand cuisine there, it is good taste with reasonable price. The white rice will be delivered in a silver classic bowl-like container, the steam fish is keep warm via the candles under the plate. Of course, you can't miss the Tom Yam soup there! The Tom Yum is delivered with the old-style steamboat   pot. So there is fire in the middle of the pot and keep the tom yum in hot temperature. If you order a seafood Tom Yum, it is full of the seafood which has lots of big prawns. But the prawns do not taste fresh or maybe cooked for too long time.
Another dish I feel nice is the salted egg chicken! It is a fried chicken coated with salted eggs. The crunchy flesh plus the mild salt, egg smell taste is just heavenly nice match!
In addition, we also ordered the steam fish which is lemon spicy one. The fish is still acceptable and doesn't disappointed us. Oh ya, try to order the coconut drinks as it is just nice to match with Tom Yum. They will give you a whole coconut. You can eat the coconut flesh besides drinking it.
The restaurant operates till quite late and lots of tourists will come. Although there is no air conditioner, there is always breeze and cool enough. It is a suitable place for family dinner. After shopping at Tebrau Jusco, you can have your dinner here. It is just beside the petrol station.

Address: Lot.Ptd 19882, Jalan Harmonium 3,Taman Desa Tebrau, Off Jalan Kota Tinggi,81100 Johor Bahru ( Beside Tebrau Jusco)
